Photon Spot's detector systems, developed in collaboration with JPL, were successfully used to receive data from the Orion spacecraft as a part of the Orion Artemis II Optical Communications System . Our systems performed flawlessly over the entirety of the mission.

The Faraon group at Caltech publish a Nature article where they entangle rare-earth ions with nanophotonic cavities. Photon Spot's detectors operating near 980nm were used in this work.

The Gröblacher and Aspelmeyer group experimentally demonstrate a non-classical state of a mechanical oscillator. Photon Spot's detectors provided high efficiency at 1556nm and low dark counts required for their experiments. Read the full article in Nature magazine.
